DOMESTIC HIGHWAY ENFORCEMENT

The primary focus of the Arizona Region Domestic Highway Enforcement (DHE) program is to degrade and disrupt the ability of drug trafficking and money laundering organizations to use the Arizona highway system to transport illegal drugs, money, and weapons by conducting highway enforcement operations. 

The strategy features intensive interdiction operations throughout Arizona to disrupt smuggling and transportation operations.  The DHE program continues to expand and enhance efforts to target and interdict illicit bulk currency transiting the Arizona highway system.
