EXECUTIVE BOARD

Each HIDTA is governed by an Executive Board comprised of Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and prosecution offices. The Executive Board facilitates interagency drug control efforts to eliminate or reduce drug threats and ensures threat specific strategies and initiatives are developed, employed, supported, and evaluated. The Arizona HIDTA Executive Board is comprised of an equal balance of Federal and state/local participating agencies.  The Board makes collective decisions regarding the Arizona HIDTA's mission, strategy, initiatives, and budget.  It also establishes policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the proper administration of personnel, financial, material, and information resources in a manner that instills public trust and accomplishes the mission.

The Board is chaired and vice-chaired by one state or local member and one Federal member for alternating one-year terms that change each October.
